Weekend TV: Emmys, 'Good Wife,' 'Boardwalk Empire' 110

Summer ends Saturday with Hallmark's "Love Begins," while the past TV season is celebrated Sunday by "The Emmy Awards.
TV's summer ends Saturday with a bit of romance on Hallmark with Love Begins (9 ET/PT), first of two planned sequels to Janette Oke's Love Comes Softly series. Wes Brown and Julie Mond star.
Then it's on to the event that traditionally marks the final dividing line between the old season and the new: The Emmy Awards (Fox, Sunday, 8 ET/5 PT).

Jane Lynch, an Emmy winner last year and Emmy favorite this year, hosts the show, which is produced by Survivor's Mark Burnett.

•Want to catch up with some Emmy contenders? The Good Wife (CBS, 9 ET/PT) airs a season finale that had one of the year's most enjoyable final scenes, as Will and Alicia's decision to finally unite threatens to be thwarted by a crowded hotel and a balky door key.

Or turn to HBO, which has a mini-marathon lead-up to the last Boardwalk Empire (10 ET/PT).

•Looking for something new instead? AMC has the latest episode of Breaking Bad (10 ET/PT), which premiered too late to make this year's Emmy race but will surely contend in the next one.
